Bobby Gene McCrain, 86, of Hendersonville passed away peacefully Saturday, June 14, 2025.
A native of Henderson County, he was the son of the late Eley (Dick) and Reetha Byers McCrain. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia, two sons, Robert and John Lee McCrain, one brother Richard and one sister Frances.
Bobby attended Dana High School. He was a proud veteran of the US Army. During his teen years, he worked at various packing houses. Bobby was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church and had retired from Seneca Foods.
Survivors include his two sisters; Carolyn Stepp and her husband David of Charlotte, NC and Carol Jones of Hendersonville, his grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a close dear friend Jo
A graveside service will be held, Thursday June 19, 2025 at eleven o’clock in the morning at Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Richard Merck officiating.
