Kenneth “Kenny” Southoron Owens, born July 24, 1956, lived his life with the bold, loyal, and unmistakable heart of a Leo. On June 22, 2026, he passed peacefully in his sleep, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable stories.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Brenda; his children Catrina (“Tim”) and Josh (“Amanda”); his grandchildren Kaylee (“Zack”) and Lloyd (“Izzy”); and his great‑grandchildren Stella‑Ann and Levi. His family was the center of his world — the pride of his life.
He loved rock and roll music, camping all summer, and spending time outdoors. He took great pride in caring for his lawn, his trucks, and even the squirrels he fed like old friends. A man who worked with his hands, he crafted beautiful furniture that reflected his creativity, skill, and unique spirit.
Kenny was direct, humorous, and a true jokester. He loved giving people a hard time, and he could take it just as well. His laughter filled every space he entered, and his presence made people feel welcome, seen, and at ease.
He adored his pets throughout his life, especially his loyal dog Tala, who remained faithfully by his side.
Kenny lived boldly, loved fiercely, and left an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
