Irene Jones, 86, of Flat Rock, NC went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 24, 2022.
A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Iron and Josie Leona Camp. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Camp and Evelyn Capps.
Irene was a homemaker and a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of almost 69 years, Vincent Jones; her children, Glenda Gilliam and her husband Glenn of Flat Rock and Patricia Pullum and her husband Billy of Hendersonville; her grandchildren, Amber Henson and her husband Matthew of Zirconia, Terry Gilliam and his wife Whitney of Simpsonville, SC and Jamie Gilliam of Flat Rock; her great grandchildren, Khloe Henson of Zirconia and Kaitlin and Kierstin Gilliam of Simpsonville, SC; her siblings, Ruth Pittman of Wellford, SC., Charles Camp and his wife Christy of Inman, SC and Larry Camp of Hendersonville; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at one o’clock in the afternoon at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
