Harriette Luvenia Melton McIver, age 89, of Mills River, NC, was called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024. She will dearly be missed.
Harriette loved doing many different hobbies over the years. She enjoyed growing flowers, crafts, traveling, reading, watching nature and wildlife, and she surely loved her cats. Most of all, she loved family.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon McIver Choyce and husband, Norman, of Mills River, NC; her son, David Wayne McIver and wife, Renée of Greer, SC; her brother, Robert “Bob” B. Melton of Alabaster, AL; grandson Noah D. McIver of Greer, SC; and grandson Christopher N. Choyce and wife, Katelyn of Harkers Island, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm David “Dave” McIver.
