Robert “Bob” Walker, born on January 17, 1960, in Los Angeles, California, passed away on June 28, 2025, in Hendersonville, North Carolina. He was 65 years old.
Bob was a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School in Whiting, Indiana. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Kentucky Wesleyan College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude—an achievement that reflected his dedication to learning and personal growth.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Paula Walker; his sons, David Walker (Giselle), Eric Walker, and Samuel Walker.  Bob was a grandfather to Antonio Jernigan and Giselle Marie Jernigan. His memory will also be cherished by his siblings; Mark Walker (Julie), Karen Eller, Christine Kerr, and Jacki Nino; as well as his best friend, Chuey Eylicio (Karen) and several nieces and nephews who knew him with affection and respect.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Dorothy Kerr; his biological father, Robert E. Walker; his brother Charles Kerr; and sisters Margaret Fitzgerald and Patricia Jonland.
A life marked by perseverance and love for family, Bob leaves behind a legacy of strength and connection. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Balfour United Methodist Church. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
