Benny Alfred Dillon, 71, of Hendersonville passed away, Thursday June 29, 2023 at his residence.
He spent his childhood in Scott County, VA and moved to Hendersonville with his family when he was a teenager. He graduated from Hendersonville High School and served in the US Army.
Benny was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Elizabeth Dillon. He is survived by his son, Sam Dillon; his brothers Harold Dillon (Audrie), Jeff Dillon, and Joe Dillon (Vicky); his sisters Sally Heck (Jim), Norma Surrette (Don), and Ruth Brittan (Wes); several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Benny loved Nascar, taking his pups for car rides through Crab Creek, and spending time with friends. Everyone that knew Benny would agree that he was one of a kind.
The family will receive friends, Sunday July 09, 2023 from one o’clock in the afternoon until two o’clock at the Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service.
