Pauline Jones King, 93, of Hendersonville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday July 6, 2022 and is reunited with her beloved family who went on before her; Her mother and father; her husband and their son, William Terry King.

A native of Henderson County, NC., she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Gertrude Jones. She grew up with a large family in Edneyville and was married to William L. King for 70 years before his passing in 2016.

She was a cafeteria worker for many years at Bruce Drysdale Elementary School. She loved traveling with her husband and enjoyed sight-seeing. She enjoyed music and received joyous blessing by serving her Lord while playing the piano at Mountain View Baptist Church for more than 70 years. Her family and her church were her life.

Pauline had a great love for her family. Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her children, Rita King Jackson, Wayne Douglas King and his wife, Gisela, and Wallace Allen King; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; five brothers; two sister and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Mountain View Baptist Church. The Reverends Craig Garren and Tony Halford will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
