Elmina Eileen Pace, 94, of Hendersonville passed away, Thursday July 08, 2021 at Pardee Hospital.
A native of Henderson County, Enie was the daughter of the late Frank Benjamin and Mary Pickelsimer McCrary and wife of the late Finley Pace who died in 2012. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Frank B. McCrary and Thomas Rex McCrary.
Her faith was very important to her, showing it to others in the way she lived everyday. She got great joy from sewing. She graduated from Flat Rock High School and as a young adult worked at Economy Drug Store snack shop and the Carolina Movie Theather. In her later years she worked at Northwestern Bank.
Survivors include, one son; James Gil Pace of Hendersonville, NC, one daughter; Delynn Pace of Zirconia, NC, four grandchildren; James Finley Pace (Michelle) of Dallas, TX, Kyle Edmundson of Zirconia, NC, Pacita Lane of Houston, TX and Keleka Dawson (Kiahma) of Houston, TX , five great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, July17, 2021 from 2PM to 4PM in the Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service. A private burial will follow the visitation.
