Marie Jones, 89, of Horse Shoe, NC went home on July 19, 2025 to be with her Lord and Savior after a long illness.
What a joyful celebration she is having as she reunites with her mother, father, six brothers, three sisters, and the love of her life, Tom, who was her husband of forty years.
After retiring from General Electric, she enjoyed many years of traveling, shopping, golfing, bowling, and making amazing memories with her family. Every day was an adventure with her and she will be deeply missed. She was one of the most kind, funny, and sweetest women to have known. She was always lighting up the room with her sense of humor.
Left to carry on her memory, are the people she treasured the most, her loving family and friends.
A funeral service will be at 11 AM Wednesday, July 23, 2025 in The Chapel in The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service. Burial will follow the service in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
