William Harold Bradley, 89, of Tuxedo, went to be with his precious Lord and Savior Sunday, August 4th 2024 while he was surrounded by his loving family.
He was the son of the late Clarence Bradley and Sarah Middleton Bradley.
He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Walter, Arthur, Archie, Austin, and Preston Bradley; two sisters, Willie Johnson and Margie Morgan. He is survived by 2 brothers; Wayne Bradley (Libby) of Saluda and Robert Bradley (Sarah) of Athens, Texas and a sister Faye Mullinax of Saluda.
Harold was devoted husband, loving father, and proud Papa. He spent much of his younger days in God’s creation, hunting and fishing. He was a graduate of both Saluda High School and A-B Tech as well as veteran of the United States Army. His love for God, family, and people was great. As long as his health allowed, he was an active church member and served in many roles through the years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the Oasis Shriners. Harold was instrumental in establishing the Green River Fire Department and assisted in the construction of the building. He was a former appliance serviceman for SEARS. In that role he enjoyed meeting and witnessing to many people. His life was a Christlike example for his family and everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Myrtle Iola Russell Bradley; two daughters, Kathy Bradley of Tuxedo, Deborah Jones (Wayne) of Saluda, and Randy Bradley of Tuxedo. He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren Calvin Jones (Heather) of Tryon and Nicole Wagner (Tyler) of Zirconia.
He will be greatly missed by his family who loved him deeply.
A graveside memorial service will be held, Friday August 09,2024 at two o’clock in the afternoon at Tuxedo First Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Steve Scoggins and Reverend Mikell Bennett officiating.
