Chuck Jones of Hendersonville, NC passed away on Sunday, August 8th, 2021 at the age of 76. Chuck was born in Dora, Alabama to Kathryn Swaim Jones and Doctor Charles Bernard Jones, Sr.
He is survived by sisters, Rebecca J. Jones, of Columbus, NC and Lynda J. Stewart and her spouse, Charles B. Stewart of Atlanta, GA; sister, Kathryn L. Jones died in 2016.
After attending Georgia Southern University and the University of Georgia, Chuck also attended St. Martin School of Arts in London, England, where he majored in fashion design. In New York, he worked with Oscar de La Renta and then formed his own company, Jones/Parker, with Jack Parker with stores in South Hampton, Palm Beach and Bal Harbour. Chuck designed haute couture fashions for many movie and high society celebrities. Retiring, he lived in Atlanta and Asheville.
Chuck’s life will be remembered with a private family service.
