Brenda “Linda” June Honeycutt, 67, passed away Tuesday August 8, 2023 at Pardee Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Geneva Cantrell; her husband, Claude Honeycutt; her first husband, Ray Stevenson; his brothers and sisters, Carroll, Clarence, and Grady Cantrell, Leah Knox, and Francis Amico.
Born as Brenda but was best known by the people that loved her as Linda. She was always full of spunk and spirit. Before her illness affected her daily living she enjoyed fishing, mud fights with her kids, finding bargains at local thrift stores, spending time with her family and friends, and much more. But her most important role in life was Mom to her boys and Nana to her grandchildren. We will hold her in our hearts and memories forever.
Those left to cherish Linda’s memory are her three sons, John Cantrell and daughter-in-law Abbey, Christopher Stevenson and daughter-in-law Cristy, and Robert Stevenson; her grandchildren Johnnyray (Paige), Paulina (Nick), Alvina (Justin), Alex, Ivy, Caleb, Corren, Emma, and Mia; her siblings, Steve Cantrell (Vee), Jesse Cantrell (Tracy), and Mary Graham (JC); As well as several nephews, nieces, cousins, and close friends.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family has entrusted Jackson Funeral Service with the arrangements.
