Anna Leora Sharpe, 95, of Hendersonville, went home to be with the Lord, her husband and son, on Friday August 13, 2021.
She was the daughter of the late McKinnley and Lucy Brown Waldroop and wife of the late Grover Sharpe. She was preceded in death by one son Ronnie Sharpe and six brothers; Jessie Messer, Paul Frady, Don Messer, Carroll Messer, Roy Waldroop and William Waldroop.
She was of the Baptist faith. She loved her doll collection, sewing, gardening and was an avid artist. She was a sweet, loving, kind, giving person, who loved her family. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include; four sons, Fred Sharpe (Janie) of Hendersonville, Allen Sharpe(Linda) of Hendersonville, Mitchell Sharpe of Concord, NC and Terry (Anna) Sharpe of Fletcher; two brothers, Kenneth Messer (Glenda) of Fletcher and Robert (Opal) Messer of Dillard, GA; Two sisters, Mary Lou Messer of Greenville, SC and Fay Messer of Hartwell, GA; eleven grandkids and twenty eight great grandkids and several neices and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Thursday August 19, 2021 at 2PM at The Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with the Reverend Larry Wilson officiating. A private burial will be held. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
