Shannon “Lee” McCarson, 43, of Hendersonville, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 17, 2022. He was born on December 20, 1978.
Lee enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, camping, and spending time with his family. His family was very important to him and he always wanted the best for them. His children were his pride and joy, along with his grandkids. He spent many of his days volunteering at the rescue squad and several fire departments, and stopping at many wrecks to help people. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Blake Flynn.
He is survived by his children; Jefferson McCarson, AbbyGail McCarson, Davidson McCarson; Ex wife and mother of his 3 children, Maranda Pace; His grandkids, Ashton Baynard, Branson McCarson, Peyton McCarson, Carson Strother; Parents, Eugene & Susan McCarson; Siblings, Stephanie (Dale) Massey, Kim Toney (Chris) Gould, Michael (Jessica) McCarson, Kris Flynn, Kylan McCarson; numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be lovingly remembered by his extended family and many friends.
A funeral service will be at 2:00PM Friday, August 26, 2022 at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
