Alan J. Lamb, 60, of Hendersonville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday August 22, 2024 at his home.

Alan was a lifelong native of Henderson County and renowned for his agricultural skills, owning and operating his business “Tomato Man” where he shared his knowledge and passion with the community. He loved the mountains and traveled often to Tennessee, which he considered his second home. Alan was also a talented musician, known for his unique singing voice and his days playing guitar in a rock band. His love for music and zest for life brought joy to all who knew him.

He was a devoted member of Kings Grove Baptist Church, where his faith and fellowship were an integral part of his life. Alan’s commitment to his community and church was evident in everything he did.  Alan spent his life deeply embedded in the community that he loved.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Jean Hoots Lamb and Wilburn Jerry Lamb.

He is survived by his children, Jacob Lamb and his wife Nicole, and Autumn Pacilli and her husband Tyler; his cherished grandchildren, Bailey, Brycon, Kaidyn, Kyler, Tucker, and Sadie of Hendersonville, NC; two sisters, Teresa L. Ownbey and her husband Dickie, and Diane L. Blackwell and her husband Charles R. of Rochester, Minnesota; many nieces and nephews; his grand-furbaby, Breezy. Alan leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly

A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday September 7, 2024 at Kings Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in King Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kings Grove Baptist Church. Alan’s presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live forever as his hope was in the lord!
