Patricia Ann Wellman Justus, 90, of Big Willow, NC went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 8, 2023.
She was born in Charleston, West Virginia on September 15, 1932.
She had lived in Henderson County for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Chester Wellman and Genevieve Lucas Mace, her husband, Jack Harold Justus, two sons, Jackie Justus and James Justus (Kay), a granddaughter, Michelle Justus and her siblings, Janice Orth and Virgie Hensley.
Pat was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to square dance, her cats, decorating, working on outside projects and helping her husband and son with plumbing and construction work.
Surviving is her daughter, Tricia Whitaker and her husband David of Mills River; grandchildren, Shawntay Cox and her husband Billy of Zirconia, Jamie Burgess and her husband Jason of Hendersonville, Shenandoah Justus of Hendersonville, Justin Whitaker of Mills River, Carissa Roush and her husband Trent of Mills River; ten great grandchildren, Skyler (Hailey), Sahara, Jaden, Sianna, Niah, Sarina, Isaiah, Joss, Brantley and Kinsley; three great-great grandchildren, Roman, Silas and Kai and her cat, Callie.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, September 15th at Mills River Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Glenn officiating. Burial will follow after the service.
