Dorothy Louise Newman Whitmire, 87, wife of William Whitmire, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
Born in Hendersonville, NC, she was a daughter of the late S.M. and Mary Ellen Newman.
Dorothy spent her career as a Biology and Physical Education Teacher in Hendersonville, NC.
In addition to her husband, she leaves behind her son William Whitmire Jr. (Tracy) and, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Yorkie, Tiger.
A Celebration of Louise’s Life will be held Sunday, October 27th from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM at the Esso Club, 129 Old Greenville Highway, Clemson, South Carolina 29631.
