Patricia (Pat) Allene Justus Reese
Pat Reese of Hendersonville, NC died at the Elizabeth House on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from Alzheimer’s. Pat was born on August 5, 1953 to the late Doris and Clyde Justus of Dana. She was a 1971 graduate of East Henderson High School. She spent most of her adult life and career as the co-owner and operator of Fish and Pets pet shop at Atha Plaza on the southside of Hendersonville with her husband Dale.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ronnie Justus (Sue) of Hendersonville.
She is survived by her husband Dale, her son Aaron Emory (Shantal), her daughter Tara Simpson (Chris) of Hendersonville and her brother Tommy Justus (Tanya) of Mars Hill. She was also survived by her grandchildren Mylana, Tyler, Brody, Lexy and a number of step-children and grandchildren including Jamie Brooks who cared for her daily during this past year. She is also survived by many other friends, family members and faithful customers.
She will be remembered at a memorial service at The Park at Flat Rock pavilion, 55 Highland Golf Drive, on Sunday, September 19 at 3:00 PM. Bring your own lawn chair and pets are welcome.
