Sharon Faye Allison, 71, of Hendersonville, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
Sharon Ball Allison, 71, of Hendersonville, died early Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, at Mission Hospital in Asheville following a lengthy illness.
She was born Aug. 17, 1951 in Henderson County, a daughter of Beulah Allison Ball of Hendersonville and the late Lafoy Ball.
A longtime member of Mud Creek Baptist Church, she worked at Spring Arbor in Laurel Park prior to her retirement.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, David Allison; a sister, Diane Morgan; brother-in-law, David Morgan; nephew, DJ Morgan and brother-in-law Steve Dalton.
Before her husband’s death, the couple loved spending time outdoors and camping. Her happiest moments were spent with children. She loved to give gifts and always enjoyed cooking and gardening.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Myers and her husband Matthew of Crawfordville, Fla.; two sons, Laton Allison and wife Amy of Hendersonville, and Lee Allison and wife Hope of Hendersonville; and four grandchildren, Whitney Myers and wife Alexis Myers of Crawfordville, Fla., Jonathan Myers and wife Paulina Myers of Tallahassee, Fla., Emma Allison of Hendersonville and Dathan Allison of Hendersonville; sisters, Mary Harwood, Debbie Summey (Jeff Summey), Lynn Pope (Ben Pope), Julie Ball (Alan Marler) and Pamela McCarson (Mack McCarson); one brother, Lafoy Ball Jr.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday September 18, 2022 at Mud Creek Baptist Church Hendersonville. The family will be greeted by guests following the services.
