Betty Lee Brevard, 74, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville.
A native of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late, Paul Vaughn and Mary Johnson Huggins.
Betty’s heart was filled with compassion and love for others. She was always willing to help, and her caring was constantly reflected in the things she did for others. Whether sending card, spending time talking, or showing up to lend a hand, she always put the needs of others before her own.
She loved her grandchildren immensely and made sure to send cards for every occasion throughout the year. They all looked forward to those sweet sentiments as well as visits with their Nana/Mamaw.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of forty-three years, Richard Earl Brevard, one daughter; Crystal Brevard Norton (Buckie Norton) of Roswell, Georgia, two sons, Landon Brevard (Erin Ashton) and Anthony Brevard all of Hendersonville, NC. Five grandchildren; Logan Norton, Holden Norton, Claire Norton, Sarah Markland and Waylon Brevard, one sister; Ann Ritter of Hendersonville, NC ,one brother James Huggins of Hendersonville, NC and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at three o’clock in the afternoon at The Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with the Reverend Richard Merck officiating. Burial will be private.
