Ryan Christopher Loesch, 55, passed away peacefully at Pardee Hospital on September 16, 2026, following a short illness. His passing leaves behind a deep sense of loss for those who loved him and had the privilege of sharing in his life.

Ryan was born on January 10, 1971, in Watertown, New York, at the House of the Good Samaritan Hospital. He graduated from Immaculate Heart Central High School in 1989 and later graduated from Jefferson Community College in Watertown in 1991 with a degree in Accounting.

Throughout his working life, Ryan found a way to bring his own warmth and enthusiasm to everything he did. He spent 16 years as a toy department manager at Walmart before joining Aeroflow Health, where he worked for approximately 10 years as a biller and assistant. He retired in 2023.

The greatest love of Ryan’s life was his wife, Amy Ann (Amell) Loesch. On August 8, 1995, they were married in a small chapel nestled in the mountains of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. For 31 years, they shared a life filled with love, laughter, companionship, and countless memories. Ryan’s love for Amy was evident in the simple moments they shared, especially their Friday nights watching 80s music videos together. Those ordinary evenings became precious memories that will forever be cherished.

Ryan was, in every sense, a kid at heart. He never lost his sense of wonder or his excitement for the things he loved. He especially enjoyed spending at least one day each week at Fletcher’s Fun Toys, where he happily served as a toy expert. He would return home excited to tell Amy all about what he had done that day. His enthusiasm was genuine and infectious, and it was one of the many things that made Ryan so wonderfully himself.

He also looked forward to his weekly trips to the Collectible Warehouse, where he could spend time browsing baseball cards and searching for his favorites — especially Stadium Club Cincinnati Reds cards. And Ryan loved to draw. His artwork was a reflection of his imagination and his heart, and if Ryan ever gave you one of his drawings, you could be certain that you held something special. It was his way of sharing a little piece of himself with someone he cared about.

In addition to his loving wife Amy, Ryan is survived by his beloved cats, Bart and Butters, who were an important part of his home and his life; his brother-in-law, Donald Amell and his wife, Linda, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida; his best friend, John Morgan and his wife, Michelle, of Hendersonville, North Carolina; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Irving and Maxine Manfredo Loesch, and his grandparents.

Those who knew Ryan will remember a man who never outgrew the things that brought him joy. He found happiness in toys, baseball cards, music, drawing, and the simple routines of everyday life. But most of all, Ryan will be remembered for the love he gave to the people and animals who were part of his world.

His life may have been far too short, but it was filled with the things that mattered most to him. Ryan leaves behind memories that will be carried in the hearts of those who loved him — memories of his excitement when he discovered something he loved, the stories he couldn’t wait to share, his artwork, his interests, and the quiet moments of love he shared with Amy.

Ryan will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
