Jimmy Gerald Chapman, 85, of Hendersonville, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at his home.
He was the son of the late James Robert Chapman and Marie Warren Chapman.
He served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marines in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church Hendersonville.
He was a Funeral Director most of his life and had worked at Jackson Funeral Home, Hendersonville and Petty Funeral Home, Landrum.
He enjoyed listening to music and singing in quartets and trios.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary Louise Moore Chapman and a host of friends and relatives.
A Celebration of Jimmy’s Life will be held 2:00 PM Monday, September 23rd at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with Rev. Roy Waldroup officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
