Bryon Lloyd Connor, 60, of Fletcher, entered into the gates of Heaven and is now dancing on the streets of glory with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
A native of Henderson County, he was the son of the late Harold Newell Connor and Barbara Idalee Lloyd of Fletcher.
Bryon was a US Air Force veteran. Having a burden for young people, he was the current Youth Pastor at Words of Life Tabernacle in Arden. He also ministered through his Bow Ministry. He loved hunting, fishing and golf, He was a great husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, who will be missed by all.
Survivors also include his wife, Marilyn Crummett Connor, two sons, Bill Ostrander (Cathy) of Fairhaven, MA and Michael Ostrander (Stephanie) of Edneyville, six grandchildren, Alexis Ostrander, Dakota Ostrander, Alex Federico, Andrea Federico, Kyleigh Kinney and Brianna “Tiny” Gavins, one brother Greg Connor (Shelly) of Fletcher, four nephews, Austin Connor, Vernon, Donald, and Kyle Crummett, two nieces, Kristina Crummett and Katie Crummett ,two great nieces, four great nephews, two aunts, Ruth Youngblood of Hendersonville and Genny Dean of Melbourne, FL and a special friend, Marci Plati.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at the Words of Life Tabernacle with the Reverends Carl Bishop and Malcom McCarson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
