Jerry R. McKee, resident of East Flat Rock, NC, quietly and peacefully went home to be with his Lord on Monday, September 23, 2019, at Four Seasons Elizabeth House, a hospice that so lovingly cared for him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara (Shaw), his dear children, Christopher (Eugenia Colquitt), Lisa Provenzano (Joseph), Karyn Hostetter (Richard), Bruce (Marsel Minota), 19 precious grandchildren, and three sisters, Virginia, Barbara, and Audrey. Jerry served in the US Navy for four years and was an electrical engineer at Xerox Corporation, Webster, NY, for nearly 30 years,
retiring in 1998. He has been a good and faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather for many years. We all will miss him, but we are very thankful he is now safe in the arms of the God he loves so much.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019, 3:00 pm, at Bethany Bible Church, 207 Chadwick Avenue, Hendersonville, NC. The family will receive friends from 1-2:45 pm at the church.
