Patricia Dare Sentell, 81, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away peacefully on Monday September 26, 2022 after years of declining health.
She was born to James Pace, Jr and Frances Pace in July of 1941 in Hendersonville, NC.
She graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1959. She went on to study Nursing at Greenville General Nursing School and graduated as Register Nurse.
Patricia worked as a nurse for Dr. Alex Veazey and Dr. James Lutz for many years before she transitioned to an office position with Hendersonville Anesthesia Associates.
She was a member, and past president, of the Hendersonville Pilot Club and the Red Hat Society. She was also a member of the Fellowship Sunday School class at First Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, traveling, and was an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her husband of 56 years, David Sentell, and her brother, James T. Pace.
Patricia is survived by her children, Susan Newman (Herschel), and Robert Sentell (Sherrie); her grandchildren, Spencer Newman, Flannery Newman, Kevin Sentell, and Anna Sentell, and her sister, Deborah Pace Farris.
A Visitation and Funeral are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at The 3:16 Center at First Baptist Church, Hendersonville. Reverend Steve Scoggins will officiate the ceremony. Burial will be private.The family has entrusted Jackson Funeral Service with the arrangements.
