Mario Javier Salas-Mazariego, 54, of Hendersonville, NC passed to his rest Monday, September 27, 2021 after a short illness.
He was born in Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo Ramon Salas and Luz Del Alba, two brothers, Lorenzo and Arturo and a sister, Luvia.
He owned and operated K and M Salas Builders in Hendersonville for 18 years. He was a fabulous musician and enjoyed playing the piano and organ at the Hendersonville SDA Church where he was a member. Mario also enjoyed playing volleyball, baseball and soccer and loved swimming.
He was a people person and loved being around family and friends and will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Maria Soledad Salas; two children, Kevin Salas and Melanie Salas both of Hendersonville; his siblings, Gloria, Marlene, Pablo, Violicia and Obed Salas-Mazariego; many nephews and nieces and his four legged friends, Oakley, Kova, Tolula and Chiquita.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October 3rd at Oakdale Cemetery with Pastor Brian Hindman and Pastor Charles Ferguson officiating.
Music will be provided by Dr. Randy Tryon.
