Derick Scott Case, 49, of Hendersonville, passed away, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Elizabeth House.
A native of Henderson County, he was the son of the late Barbara Ann Searcy Case and Harley Frank Case of Pelzer, SC .
Derick graduated from Edneyville High School, Class of 91 and is a current member of Maple Hill Baptist Church, he was a preacher’s kid who married a preacher’s kid. Derick never met a stranger and found great joy, in just striking up a conversation with anyone he came across.
Survivors in addition to his father are his loving wife of 27 years, Tiffanie Lanning Case, one son, Austin Case, one daughter, Autumn Case, his step mother, Helen Case, one brother, Timothy Case and his wife Anadele and one niece, Lily Case.
A memorial service will be held, Saturday, October 02, 2021 at 3 PM at Anchor Baptist Church, with Preacher Harley Case and Preacher Dennis Lanning officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
