William Paul “Will” McMinn, 20, of Flat Rock, NC went to be with his Heavenly Father Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
He was the son of Shawnee Hare of Flat Rock and Steven McMinn (Angela) of Flat Rock. He is also survived by his siblings, Luke McMinn (Makayla) of Flat Rock, Molly McMinn of Flat Rock; grandmother, Joan McMinn of Flat Rock; his girlfriend, Rachel Bright of South Carolina; his best friend Micah Ashenfelder of Hendersonville and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his longtime four legged companion, Scout.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Albert “Bill” McMinn.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County and graduated from Henderson County Early College.
He was a machine operator for his family’s business, McMinn Grading and also volunteered at The Storehouse.
He enjoyed playing Lacrosse and Football through the Carolina Gladiators.
Will also loved old cars, forging, welding, hunting and caring about people and animals.
He attended Upward Fellowship Church.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October 10th at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hendersonville, NC with Rev. Anthony Craver officiating.
