Velma Hare McCrary, 75, of Mountain Home, went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, October 06, 2022 at the Elizabeth House.
She was the daughter of the late Morris and Mabe Hare. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter.
Velma was a member of Naples Baptist Church. She loved to travel and had a kind and giving heart. Her greatest passion was animals.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 37 years, Sherrell P. McCrary; three step-daughters, Darlene Edwards (Brian) of Spindale, NC; Beth Timmons (James) of Chattanooga, TN and Angela Brown (Ernest) of Rutherfordton, NC and five grandkids.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at two o’clock in the afternoon at Naples Baptist Church with the Reverend Richard Merck officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park following the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
