Melinda Lusk Hill went to her eternal home on Friday, October 8, 2021, a brave and courageous woman!
Melinda was born on January 27, 1960 in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
Until her illness she was able to operate Hill Farm Plants in Dana, North Carolina.
She was a Certified Organic Grower and Farmer. She was a creative and wonderful floral designer, providing arrangements for weddings and other celebrations locally and throughout the southeast. She was an active and involved member and participant of the Henderson County, NC Tail Gate Market, Flat Rock Market, Hendersonville Garden Jubilee, Asheville Herb Festival, and other venues.
Melinda was a wife, mother, business woman, grower and mentor. She was fortunate to excel and enjoy her passion for the things she believed was important. She will be missed by many.
Proceeding her in death were her parents Juanita and Warren Lusk of the Hoopers Creek Community. Survivors are her husband, Larry Hill, son Jason Pate, two sisters Alice Gillis (Al) and Pam Estes (Wayne) and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank each and all the nurses, doctors, caregivers, especially the Dana Fire Department during her time of illness. A special thank you to Four Seasons Hospice for the wonderful care provided during this difficult time.
A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
