Sandra (Sandy) Gamble passed away Thursday, Oct 10th, at her family’s home in Hendersonville NC, where she was surrounded by family and friends. Her strong faith enabled her to face her illness with great courage. She is survived by her sister Francie Smaroff of Hendersonville, NC, and her brother Chip Markward of South Lake Tahoe, CA, nephews David Blocher of Potomac Falls, VA and Matthew Blocher of Wash., D.C. and niece Lauren Smaroff of Columbia, S.C.
Sam, as she was known by her family, always put the needs of others before hers. She put her best effort into whatever project was assigned her, whether personal or professional.
She had a natural gift of being very creative and was passionate about her work, as was evident by her long career in the field of home design in California and most recently in Maryland.
The family will have a private service.
