Caroline McCraw Cooper, a beloved Mother, Nana, Sister, and Friend passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024 at the age of 78.
Born on October 18, 1945, in Hendersonville, NC. Caroline was testament to love, dedication, and resilience. Caroline devoted to her life to her family, she often told her daughter “You and me against the world.” Caroline was a social butterfly. You could often find her at Saluda Mountain Jamboree dancing. Caroline was active in the community and always enjoyed attending the Apple Festival. One of Caroline’s treasured activities was thrifting. Which her family benefited from every Christmas.
Caroline’s life was one of inspiration, strength, marked by her unwavering love and dedication to her family and friends. She was preceded in death her loving husband Medford John Cooper Jr.
She leaves behind a loving family: Daughter, Deborah Day (Bud Day); Son, John Robert Cooper II (Lisa McEntire Cooper); Her 5 Grandchildren, Logan Beddingfield, Eli Beddingfield (Shalee Beddingfield), Auburn Reece (Brandon Reece), Jacob Cooper, and Mason Cooper; Her 5 Great-Grandchildren, Cooper Beddingfield, Olivia Beddingfield, Knox Beddingfield, Walker Beddingfield, and Keaton Reece. Along with several nieces and cousins. Her family extends to numerous friends she made throughout her journey, each touched by her kindness and warmth.
A private ceremony will be held for Caroline’s family. In Lieu of Flowers please make donations to Mountain View Baptist Church for Homefront Ministry. Caroline’s legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
