Barbara Ann (Ferreri) Browne.
November, 1933 – October, 2022
Barbara passed away peacefully at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her
husband, Thomas Liberty Browne (2016).
Barbara leaves behind her daughter, Jeanette (Ivey); son-in-law, Ron; son, Thomas and daughter-in-law Karen; daughter, Melissa and son-in-law, Joachim Heel; grandson, Leonidas Heel; brother, Richard Ferreri.
Barbara was born and raised in Youngstown OH, an alumni of Kent State University and
active in the Delta Gamma Sorority. She went on to get her degree in Political Science
at Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland. Barbara and Thomas resided in several
locations, most recently in Florida and North Carolina. Barbara made many friends
along the way and was an avid tennis player and golfer. While living in France with her
husband Thomas and daughter Melissa, she was an active member of the American
International Women’s Club. In her later years she enjoyed playing bridge, mahjong and
scrabble with friends.
Barbara will be missed by her family and friends for her quick wit, style and
determination.
The family has entrusted Jackson Funeral Service with the arrangements.
