Carol Ann Bolick Lunsford, 83, of East Flat Rock, NC went to spend eternity with her heavenly Father Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
She was born October 6, 1938 in Macon County. Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Donald Lunsford; her parents, William A and wife Rose Ann Elliott Bolick; a brother, John Bolick, a sister, Ruth Davis and living brother Harrison Downs of Fort Edward, NY.
She attended Brevard High School, where she was a cheerleader and graduated from Hendersonville High School. She retired from General Electric in Hendersonville after 28 years of service. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, square dancing, but most of all her FAMILY.
She is survived by two sons, Tim Lunsford and wife Linda of Dana, NC, Kevin Lunsford and wife Meg of Flat Rock and Donald Chapman and wife Joellen; four grandchildren, Jacob Lunsford (Abbey), Erin Lunsford McCraw (Joe), Ashley Schulze (Wes) and Phillip Chapman (Lissete); eight great grandchildren, Piper McCraw, Berkley Shulze, Cadence McCraw, Palmer Lunsford, Trina Chapman, Sean Chapman, Maya Martinez and Teana Martinez and her faithful Catahoula Hound Jackie Boy.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 16th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Hendersonville Church 1705 Spartanburg Hwy, Hendersonville, NC 28792 with a service following at 2:00 pm with Pastor Nathan Byrd officiating. Graveside ceremony will be private to family members.
