Slade Stephen McFadden, 48, of Hendersonville, NC went to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 12th, 2023. Slade was born on February 6, 1975, in Camp Lejeune, SC. He was the son of the late Stephen Franklin McFadden and is survived by his mother Martha (Penny) Patterson Greene (Don Greene) of Belmont, NC. He was also preceded in death by brothers Stephen Joshua McFadden and Barton Michael McFadden.
Slade is survived by his loving wife Lesley Williams McFadden and daughters Anna Jade(Fiancé Evan Rimer) and Ava Grace of Hendersonville, NC, and stepchildren Nicholas, Morgan, and William Carpenter of Hendersonville. He is also survived by Aunts Phyllis Tutko(Ed) of Bowie, MD and Gwendolyn Phillips(Bernard) of Mills River, NC, Kathy Blankenship(Eddie) of Arden, NC, and Uncle Larry Patterson(Jackie), Cousins Brian Patterson, Bridget Anders(Tim), Jill Patterson(Ronnie) Wendy Scope(Adrian), Tracy and Pat Speck and Angie Lowe of Hendersonville, NC, Greg Simpson(Nichole) of Pensacola, FL. and beloved Fur-baby Daisy.
Slade was an active member of Mud Creek Baptist Church in Hendersonville, NC for 38 years. He was a personal trainer for Perfect Form Personal Training for 16 years. He was passionate about working out and helping others to be the best version of themselves. He was the biggest Alabama Football fan and Carolina Panthers Football fan you would have known. He was a huge fan of Hank Williams Jr., Johnny Cash, and anything involving fast cars and a trout fishing fanatic. He loved spending time with his family, especially at the beach. Slade was loved and will be missed.
A memorial service will be held at Mud Creek Baptist Church on Sunday October 22nd visitation at 1:00 PM and Memorial Service at 2:00 pm.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Slade’s Honor to Mud Creek Baptist Church 403 Rutledge Drive, Hendersonville, NC 28739.
