James Paul Brian, 82, of Flat Rock, went home to Heaven on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
Born in South Carolina, he was a son of the late George and Lyda Mae (Anders) Brian. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two granddaughters, Taylor Brian and Mindy Brian Miranda and a sister, Mary Lee Summey.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of Fletcher First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Brenda Moore Brian; two sons, Wayne Brian and his wife Ruthie and Alan Brian and his wife Lynn; three grandchildren, Lindsey Brian Vindel, Travis Brian, Trevor Brian and his wife Haley; two great-grandchildren, Tori Miranda and Ian Miranda; a grandson-in-law, Israel Miranda; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 2:00PM Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
