Keith Thomas Taylor, 52, of Zirconia left this Earth for his Heavenly home on Friday, September 17, 2021.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County and Zirconia. He was a graduate of East Henderson High School (1988) and Blue Ridge Community College. He joined the Army and served in Desert Storm before he was discharged and returned home. He held many jobs over his lifetime, from truck driver, volunteer fire fighter, HazMat supervisor, to mechanic on cars, tractor trailer trucks, and heavy equipment. He was able to work on or fix just about anything there was given his ability to “work on anything”. He was medically retired in 2018, but he never let that stop him from living his life to the fullest. He also had many passions in life that he was able to enjoy.
Keith loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a true friend to many and loved by more than he would ever know. He lived every day to the fullest possible and chose to see the positive in his circumstance. He will be missed by all who truly knew him and we all have our memories to make us smile from time to time.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Estelle Russell Taylor, and his father, Carl Thomas Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Shelly Mosely Taylor, his son, Jay Thomas Taylor, and his stepson, Zachary Austin Taylor, who will cherish the memories of him.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11 o’clock in the morning at Hendersonville First Baptist Church, with the Reverend Steve Scroggins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
Condolence cards may be sent to the family at www.jacksonfuneralservices or 1101 Greenville Hwy, Hendersonville, NC 28792.
