He was a lifetime Clemson fan and IPTAY member since he was 12 years old. He love to grill hotdogs in the snow, travel from mountains to beach, fishing, many years of softball, and spending time with his precious family. He loved his family unconditionally, and there was not a single event he missed. You would recognize his voice when you heard “What’s up Cuz?”

He was a local hero and pillar of our community supporting our four High Schools and many, many charities and foundations. He was an avid supporter of small businesses, especially McFarlan’s Bakery. There are no words to express how wonderful a man he was.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Don Don Memorial Scholarship. Checks may be made out to the Don Don Memorial Scholarship and mailed to 1524 Lamy Drive, Hendersonville NC 28792.

He held fast in his faith and exemplified what a faithful Christian walk looks like.

Service will be held at Mud Creek Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 25th at 3 pm. The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm.
