Dora Imogene Saltz Langley, 87 of Hendersonville, NC passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at the Life Care Center of Hendersonville.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, the daughter of the late Roy Franklin Saltz Sr. and Dora Shipman Saltz she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Ray E. Langley, a great granddaughter, McKinley Cheyenne Harless and two brothers, Thomas Leon Saltz and Earl Clifton Saltz.
She was a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church.
She retired after 40 plus years as a Lab Technician at Henderson County Internists.
Imogene was a very nurturing person who was very devoted to her family and friends.
She is survived by; two daughters, Ragenia L. Harless (Rick) of Millers Creek, NC and Annette L. Van Arsdale (Israel Hernandez) of Hendersonville, NC; a grandson, Thomas Ray Harless (Kandise) of Millers Creek, NC; two granddaughters, Miranda V.A. Stevens of Hendersonville, NC and Jessica A. Van Arsdale of Hendersonville, NC; a great granddaughter, Jaycie Raye Stevens of Hendersonville, NC; a brother, R.F. Saltz (Sharon) of Hendersonville; a sister-in-law, Doris B. Saltz of Hendersonville, NC and seven nephews and five nieces.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday October 28th at Jackson Funeral Service Chapel. A funeral service will follow in the chapel with Rev. Stephen Rutland officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
