Kenneth Wade Garren, 75, beloved Dad, “Papaw”, brother, and friend peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus on October 26, 2022.
Kenneth was the son of the late Gaden and Alva Garren. He was also proceeded in death by his loving wife of 37 years, Joann Roland Garren and two brothers, Preston, and Eugene Garren. Kenneth is survived by a large and loving family which includes his two sons, Tim Garren (Lori) and Jason Garren (Marti); four grandsons, Brandon Garren (Cassidy), Tyler Garren (Taylor), Trace Garren (Mikaela) and Hunter Garren and three great grandchildren, Mavrick, Skylar and Brantley Garren. Kenneth was one of ten children and is survived by his siblings, Ercelle, Clyde, Betty, Harold, Edna, Sheila and Danny Garren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Kenneth was blessed to have had the love and dedication of Viola “Sis” Brevard over the past ten years.
Kenneth was proud to serve his Country in the United States Army. He was known for his love and dedication for God, a devoted Christian, and an active member of Berea Baptist Church. He was a faithful Servant of the Lord with a profound love for God and his church family.
Family will receive family and friends Sunday, October 30th at Jackson Funeral Service from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a Celebration of Kenneth’s Life starting at 3:00 PM.
Family requests that in lieu of flowers any donations be made to Berea Baptist Church located at 626 Berea Church Road, Hendersonville, NC.
