Jonathan James Carlisle, lifelong resident of Hendersonville NC, former mechanic, and plumber by trade, passed tragically on November 4, 2021, at the age of 31. Loving son to Troy Dallas Carlisle and Penny Sellers Carlisle of Dana, Jonathan went to be with his little angel Audrey Sheree Carlisle who passed on April 4,2018. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents David James and Blanche Carlisle of Dana, Mary Kuykendall of Fletcher, and Grandfather Jack Sellers of Mountain Home.
Jonathan lived life to the fullest, always cutting a joke and toasting a cheer with friends while leaving the worries of the world behind him. He was a loud and proud country boy by every definition. With his new wings, he will finally be free to ride the breeze and soar through the mountains and fields like he always dreamed of.
Jonathan will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him. He will be most deeply missed by his two surviving children James Dallas Carlisle of Dana, age 7, and Braxton Levi Carlisle of Mars Hill, age 6. Jonathan is also survived by his two sisters Emily Lee Pauwels of Dana, wife to Richard Erik Pauwels, and Jessica Strange of Asheville, wife to Isaac Strange. Jonathan also leaves behind his grandparents TD and Tille Carlisle of Dana, Mary Lee Sellers of Mountain Home, Great Aunt Jeanette Kuykendall of Fletcher, and several other Aunts, Uncles, Niece, and Cousins.
