Hazel Lee Jones Enloe, 85, of Flat Rock, passed away Wednesday Nov. 5, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County. The daughter of the late Robert Jones and Mary Stanley. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Elizabeth Foster, Bobby Suttles; her beloved husband Emerson James Enloe; her daughter Beverly Jean Sain; and her son Richard Thomas Dalton.
She was a loving mother that loved to travel the country. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and enjoyed gospel music.
She is survived by her sister Shirley Quinn of Flat Rock, NC; her children, Sandra Lynn Stepp of Flat Rock, NC, Karen Denise Dalton of Edneyville, NC, Lee Porter Dalton and his wife Jeannine of Flat Rock, NC; several grandkids, great-grandkids, great-great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the care she received from Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in The Chapel in The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service. Burial will follow the service in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
