Blanche Capps Camp, 88, of Zirconia, passed away and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 08, 2022 while working in her yard.
A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, Blanche was the daughter of the late Harley and Viola Russell Capps and wife of the late Clinton H. Camp who died in 2018. She was preceded in death by her son Frank Camp and three brothers.
Blanche was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed working in her garden, caring for her yard and anything where she could be outdoors.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son; Randy Camp (Margaret) of Zirconia ; five grandchildren, Greg Camp (Christina) of Lake Toxaway, James Camp of Zirconia, Randy Camp Jr (Samantha) of Hendersonville, Kylie Spurlock of New Mexico and Brooke Camp of Hendersonville; six great grandchildren; two brothers; Noble and Francis Capps, one sister; Armay Ramey and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held, Monday November 14, 2022 at two o’clock in the afternoon at Mountain Valley Baptist Church with the Reverend Butch Skerrett and Preacher David Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
