Wilbur Goodwin “Goody” Hart born in 1933 in Jacksonville, FL., and later he came to the Hendersonville area from Raleigh / Durham area in 1992.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Wilbur Jackson Hart and Lessie Maryland Hart, sisters: Margaret Griffin, Ruth Cochrane and Helen Richards; first wife, Samme Hart and second wife, Helen Decker Hart.
He leaves behind 6 stepchildren, several nieces and nephews and several step-grandchildren.
He was a computer specialist and worked for IBM for 33 years. He was in the US Air Force for 4 and a half years. He was an active member of the Universalist Unitarian Fellowship. He was a 43 year friend of “Bill”
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship located at 409 E. Patterson St., Hendersonville, NC. (Masks are required)
