Alan Dean Jones, 62, of Zirconia, finished his race on Saturday November, 18, 2023 at the Elizabeth House.
A native of Henderson County, he was the son of the late Robert Benjamin and JoElla Garren Jones.
He was a graduate of Edneyville High School and further pursued his education at Blue Ridge Community College. Alan was of the Baptist faith . He was an Eagle Scout and he loved the beach, shark tooth hunting, fishing and his friends, with a bit of gambling here and there. Alan was known for his smile, his heart of service, his perseverance and his love of family. He especially enjoyed riding his Harley.
Those he leaves to cherish his memory are his son; Duke Justus Campbell, two sisters; Denice Berry (John) and Carmelita Alverson (Troy) one niece; Tiffany, four nephews; John, Brandon, Drew, and Jordan and their families.
The family would like to thank those who loved and served Alan to the very end; Ricky Jo, Candy, Roger, Amy, Mary, Larry, December, Kenny, Laura and Hospice Nurses, Carolyn and Ali.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, December 02, 2023 at two o’clock in the afternoon at Ebenezer Baptist Church with John Berry III officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
