James Lloyd Williams, 84, passed away on 11/26/2022, following a brief illness. He is survived by his daughter, Geena Scherer; grandson, Nicholas Scherer (Katie & Sylus); sister, DeLois Payne, and many wonderful cousins and extended family. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary and his father and mother, Lloyd and Data Williams.
James was a lifetime resident of Edneyville. His quick wit and ever famous quotes made many people laugh. He had a helpful nature and loving spirit that will be missed. He took early retirement after 35 years at General Electric and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. He was also a Military Police Officer in the Army, stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. “Jim” as he was known to many was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family, extended family and friends.
The family has entrusted Jackson Funeral Service with his cremation. There will be no formal service held.
