Lynda Kay Gussman, 81, of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Pardee Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
Lynda was a 1959 graduate of Hendersonville High School. Following high school, she worked for G.E. until she met and married Army MSgt. Robbie Dedman. The couple moved to Texas in 1964 where they started a new life together and raised two kids. Robbie died in July, 1980 and Lynda married her second husband, G. “Gus” Gussman in 1985 and moved to Beaumont. She and Gus were married until his death in February, 2002. While in Texas, Lynda Kay worked as a Data Entry Clerk for both the Jasper and Hardin County tax appraisal districts until she retired in 2010. In February, 2012, she relocated back to Hendersonville where she lived her remaining days. Lynda had a wonderful, compassionate and loving spirit and she will definitely be missed.
Survivors include: A son, Robert Gussman and wife Stephanie of Houston; a daughter, Kathy Pace and husband Dennis of Hendersonville; her grandchildren, Steven Pace (Aisha) of Asheville, Hannah Harris (Jason) of Hickory, and Bridget Burns of Houston, TX. She also had five great-grandchildren and one more on the way.
A graveside service will be at 11:30 AM Monday, December 5, 2022 at Oakdale Cemetery Hendersonville. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM prior to the service on Monday, December 5th at Jackson Funeral Service in Hendersonville.
