Juanita Mary Lance Holbert, 88, of Hendersonville, NC went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 1, 2023.
She was native of Henderson County and the daughter of the late Forrest Jackson Lance and Katie Lora Ruth Lance.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Alyne Jones.
Juanita and her husband Curtis were lifelong farmers.
She was a member of Fruitland Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Curtis Andrew Holbert; two sons, Gary Curtis Holbert and his wife Annette Lynn Justice Holbert of Mills River and Larry Claude Holbert of Hendersonville; two grandsons, Jeffrey Alan of Mills River and Larry Beltron Holbert of Hendersonville; one great grandson, Phoenix Shiningstar Meden of Hendersonville; two brothers, Randall Lance of Hendersonville and Ronald Lance of South Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 4th from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel in The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Rev. Chris Pace and Preacher Larry Holbert officiating. Burial will follow at the Lanning-Pittillo Cemetery.
