James Calvin “JC” Allison, 78, of Hendersonville, NC passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 after a short illness.
He was born in Buncombe County, North Carolina, raised in Transylvania County, North Carolina and resided in Henderson County, North Carolina since 1964.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Roosevelt Allison and Novella Brackett Allison. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Allison, Robert Earl Allison and four sisters, Katherine Mahafey, Betty Corpening, Allie Gordon and Edith Marie Allison.
He had worked at Belks in Hendersonville for five years, Harden’s Flooring Company for 25 years and Usher Carpet and Tile for 17 years.
He enjoyed model trains and listening to music.
He is survived by his loving girlfriend of 25 years, Barbara Bradshaw; two daughters, Michelle Fisher of Hendersonville and Becky Allison of of Hendersonville; a sister, Frances Crosby and her husband Joe of Hendersonville; two grandchildren, Jacob and Madison; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced.
