The family of Carl Dewey Hood III of Hendersonville is saddened to announce his passing on Monday, December 2nd at the age of 64 years.
Born on May of 1960 in Greenville South Carolina to Paula Bishop Hood and Carl Dewey Hood II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his stepfather Bill, his brothers Richard and Larry, and his son, Carl Dewey Hood IV.
He is survived by his daughters, Shannon and Jackie and his sisters Konda, Karol and Gwen as well as four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was a friend to many and will be missed.
To honor Carl, a one hour gathering of family and friends will begin at 3pm Tuesday, December 17, 2024 in the Chapel in The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service.
